The history of our school

The Old School House is a listed building. It originally belonged to the church. It was built in the 1600s, although much of it was rebuilt in the early 1800s. It is made from cob and has a slate roof.

Up until 19 the Old School House was lived in by the headteacher. The last person to live in the building was Miss Ashley, who used the school garden to grow vegetables.
